A delicious, easy and fast way to discover Gluten Free French Cuisine

GF Gourmet Chicken

This recipe is a huge bounce in the past….a long time ago…when I was a little girl…;)

Exactly like when my Mum was cooking a delice chicken with homemade French Fries for our Sunday lunch…

All the flavor is jumping back in my memory…

So yesterday…I cooked a chicken comme Maman!

And of course with French fries….

but first of all, let me clear a huge unfairness…smile…French Fries are not French…

I promise, it’s true…French fries are Belgian…

I will share my 2 versions of homemade fries in another post: 1 “light”, and 1 “rich” version in another post soon…

So what ingredients do we need to cook this marvel???

For 4 persons:

-2 chicken breast (the one I buy is organic…)

-1 pound of  fresh mushrooms, or 1 large can of mushrooms, depending on the season, I sometimes like to use fresh ceps

-1,5 cup of cream,…you know, the one you use for whipping cream???

-3 tablespoon of balsamic vinegar (here is my secret…)

– 3 tablespoon of olive oil

-1 pinch of curry (you wont taste it…but add some flavor…perfect with mushrooms)

-1 pinch of salt

-1 pinch of crushed pink pepper /plate for the final touch

How to cook this French Chicken Gourmet?

Cut your chicken in “émincé” (small chunks)

Put the olive oil in a fried pan and heat, once the oil is hot, add your pieces of chicken  and cook (middle heat)  untill it takes a nice and gold color. Salt

Add your mushrooms in the fried pan and stir regularly for 5 minutes.

Than add your cream, and slow down the heating, it has to cook very slowly for now…keep going with stirring to allow the cream to mix and soak the chicken, add your curry.

Once you see the cream is turning thicker, add the vinegar and stir one more time…

It’s ready…lay your plates and crush the pink pepper spreading on your chicken.

You can serve it with “French “Fries or with mashed potatos…actually, it’s delicious with any side dish, rice…..pasta…

You can really blow away your guest with this very easy recipe…

I use to go in very nice restaurants when travelling in Europe and…honestly, this is the kind of dish that is served in nice restaurants…

Enjoy…

Bon Appétit les Amis!!!
